Cemetery History |
At one time there were three marked graves but other probably existed at one time. In September 2008, Ruth Miller and some members of the Jonathan Wright Chapter of the DAR visited this cemetery. No tombstones were found and the pond no longer exists on the property. It was filled in about 1968. Carolyn Wallace is the current owner but her sister Linda Michael lives in a new house built just west of the farmhouse. The old cemetery is on Linda’s property. Prior to 1966 the Miller farm incorporated many areas including the current site of the Warren County Career Center, the old farm house and other acreage extending to Turner Road. Carolyn showed the location near a pear tree where she had seen tombstones many years ago. Tombstones might still exist and be buried underground. |
