Cemetery History

First known burial is for Dorcas Stewart who died 9 Aug 1834.  The United Brethren Church in Harveysburg was organized in 1823 by Daniel Bonebreak and Alfred Carder.  The brick church was built in 1839 to replace the old log one.  Abigail Ham and her husband along with Ephraim Mills and some others were among the first to join the church after its organization.

The tombstones in this cemetery are currently all underground.  It needs restoration work.
