The Supreme Court began
in 1803 and heard appeals from the Common Pleas Court specific to Warren
County. Its decisions were final. This court was abolished in 1851 and
replaced in 1852 by the District Court, which was abolished in 1883 and
replaced by the Circuit Court, which was replaced in 1912 by the Court of
Appeals, which still is in place today.
